Doko has always been around us, woven into our songs, superstitions, and folktales. For some, it serves as a means of their livelihood, their dal bhaat; for others, it’s a vessel for their dreams.
It is a symbol of strength and resilience. It is a giver, a friend in deed, a sturdy, comforting shoulder.
The community, draws inspiration from an ancient folk tale about a Doko, which embodies the timeless wisdom of life’s cyclical nature – what goes around comes around. Guided by this, we strive to embody the strength of a Doko while giving back to the community with the same spirit that the Doko has given to us.
We as a community plan on bringing this vision to life by providing a platform and a voice for humorous products, raw art, forgotten stories, and dynamic beings that, like the Doko, have often been overlooked and tucked away into the corners of our collective consciousness.
